Stop Premature Ejaculation for Long Lasting Sex

Premature ejaculation is the most common male sexual dysfunction and it is the most frequent problem in the way of satisfactory sexual relationships between men and women.

There’s no specific medical standard for how long it should take a man to ejaculate. However, if you regularly ejaculate sooner than you and your partner wish — either before or very quickly after penetration of the penis into the vagina — thereby causing distress to either one of you, you have the condition known as Premature Ejaculation.

premature ejacualtion by man leaves partner frustratedSurveys have reported that as many as 60% of men have intermittent concerns about how to have longer lasting sex. Surveys also report that approximately 40% of all men, regularly ejaculate within 2 to 3 minutes or less, after vaginal penetration. Against this, the average woman needs at least 8 to 10 minutes of continuous stimulation to reach orgasm.

Consequently, premature or rapid ejaculation is the no.1 complaint of almost all women in relation to unsatisfactory sexual relationships.

Sexual Enhancement Products that help to Stop Premature Ejaculation

Although this frustrating condition of premature or rapid ejaculation is a problem that affects millions of men around the world, relatively few seek professional treatment. But the good news is that this condition can be successfully treated.

Today there are several options available for solving this problem, so that both your partner and you can truly enjoy the pleasures of sexual intercourse.

Once thought to be purely psychological, experts now know that biological factors also play an important role in premature ejaculation. Very frequently, and amongst many men, premature ejaculation is related to partial erectile dysfunction.

There are some basic factors for longer-lasting sex that need to be addressed, before seeking other premature ejaculation solutions.

1. Full, long-lasting penis erections

Erections that remain completely hard throughout the duration of penis-vagina intercourse, till after orgasm, are essential requirements for lasting longer in intercourse.

Partial erections, or erections that lose hardness during vaginal penetration before orgasm, will result in ejaculating too fast. Similarly, any anxiety about the size and quality of your erection, or how long your erection will last, or about your sexual performance, will inevitably lead to premature ejaculation.

Men who are anxious about obtaining or maintaining their erection during sexual intercourse tend to form a pattern of rushing to ejaculate.

2. Regular and frequent sex acts leading to ejaculation are essential.

Relatively long periods of sexual abstinence between attempts at intercourse increase the likelihood of premature ejaculation. If infrequent sex is due to the lack or absence of sexual partners, masturbation to the point of ejaculation is a recommended alternative.

For severe premature ejaculation problems, try masturbating an hour or two before intercourse. This will help you delay ejaculation during intercourse.

3. Relaxed, confident attitude towards sex and sexual intercourse

This will help you to experience the pleasures and joys of long lasting sex, without worrying about your ability to perform or to satisfy your partner..

The erection enhancement product suggested above will generate confidence about the quality, size and endurance of your erections. With this confidence, try to be relaxed in your approach to sex.

One easy way to stay relaxed while making love is to breathe deeply. The body has a natural tendency to breathe deeply during sex. But many men tend fight it, either consciously or unconsciously.

Make a deliberate effort to keep breathing deeply, throughout the sex act. This one little change will improve ejaculatory control and help you achieve longer lasting sex.

Desensitizing sprays and creams reduce sensitivity of the penis during sexual intercourse and thereby increase ejaculation control and stop premature ejaculation. But, since these work by reducing the responsiveness of the penis to stimulation, they also reduce the sexual pleasure for the male.

However, the increased control over ejaculation does enhance the confidence of the man in his performance. Over time, the enhanced confidence and repeated practice of successful intercourse and long-lasting sex enables one to reduce and eventually eliminate the use of the desensitizing products.

Physical Techniques for Ejaculation Control during Intercourse

There are certain physical techniques that can help improve ejaculatory control. The start-stop-squeeze method originated by Masters and Johnson consists of squeezing the penis hard enough to partially lose an erection just before reaching the point of ejaculation.

The goal of the technique is to become aware of the sensations leading to an orgasm. The start-stop method consists of the partner starting and stopping stimulation prior to ejaculation.

  • Step 1. Begin sexual activity as usual, including stimulation of the penis, until you feel almost ready to ejaculate.
  • Step 2. Have your partner squeeze the end of your penis, at the point where the head (glans) joins the shaft, and maintain the squeeze for several seconds, until the urge to ejaculate passes.
  • Step 3. After the squeeze is released, wait for about half a minute, then go back to foreplay. You may notice that squeezing the penis causes it to become less erect, but when sexual stimulation is resumed, it soon regains full erection.
  • Step 4. If you again feel you’re about to ejaculate, have your partner repeat the squeeze process.

By repeating this as many times as necessary, you can reach the point of entering your partner without ejaculating. After a few practice sessions, the feeling of knowing how to delay ejaculation may become a habit that no longer requires the squeeze technique.

These series of exercises progress to intercourse and over a period of weeks to gradually increasing ejaculatory control and to longer lasting sex. But, these require practice and time to master, the help and cooperation of the female partner and require temporary interruptions of intercourse.
